Briahna Rousseau

Born and raised in the Bay Area, has begun a year-long journey to receive her Teacher's Credential and Masters Degree at UCSC as she aspires to pursue her dream to become a bilingual elementary school teacher. Along with her studies, she spends her free time drawing and painting as a great way to express her feelings at the tip of a paintbrush. Briahna looks at the world in an artistic way admiring the natural beauty its filled with.  Art has no boundaries, to make a mark on a canvas is to open the door of possibility of being moved profoundly and to move others.

Darin Dailey

Darin is a self taught Woodturner. In 1992 he started turning wood on a whim when he came across a used lathe in the classifieds for $100.  Eventually his skills developed to the point where he has now sold thousands of his turnings to people from all parts of the globe, including custom turnings for several clients. Darin's turnings have been seen in Sunset Magazine and in the Sunset "Dream House". His most popular turned item, by far, are the "trees".  Each tree is unique in size, shape, and character. They are purely decorative in nature and somewhat addictive to collect. Start with a couple and soon you'll want to add to your forest.  Darin loves unlocking the colors and grain patterns inside the wood. About 95% or more of the materials used in his turning are rescued from scrap, or firewood piles, or collected as driftwood.  Please visit Zia to check out Darin's work -- and be sure to check out the door handles of Zia's as you visit -  that's some of Darin's work too.

Rowena Cherry

Originally from England, and having lived in France, Switzerland, Italy, and now the US, Rowena has enjoyed seeing and appreciating the different styles and cultures of each location.  She loves color and enjoys creating new shapes and designs for her jewelry, in Sterling Silver and Gold Filled metals with quality gemstones, crystals, pearls etc.  Believing jewelry should be fun, uplifting, and make you smile (!), her styles are OOAK (one of a kind) and usually feature movement in the design along with complimentary textures and colors.
